With the festive and wedding season approaching, our Autumn- Winter collection’19 has just launched by the name of ‘Indah’ | The Festive Collection.
‘Indah’ means a beautiful girl in Bahasa, the language of Indonesia. It comes from a mix of Buddhist- Hindu culture and Balinese culture, often used to signify intricacy and aesthetics.
The collection is full of stunning pieces that are a perfect blend of cultural and contemporary prêt. It is inspired by the famous Batik art and temple designs from Bali. Batik prints have influenced in the artistries of the bold prints in our season’s unique print story. We used striking appliqué techniques that include intricate hand embroidery and painstaking corded texture technique to make this collection novel.
Keeping in mind both weather and comfort, fabrics like Silk Chanderi, Rose Silk, Georgette, Khadi, Woven Checks etc are crafted into modern-day tunics, shirts, layering of long and short jackets with draped dresses, high waist paperback dhoti pants, beautiful silk scarves etc with a gorgeous range of festive colours like Forest Green, Teal, Neon Lime, Mustard, Mulberry, Dusty Lilacs and of course AMPM’s classic Black and White.
The iconic pieces portray a present-day woman’s elegance and cultural roots. These should be your essentials to look fabulous and stand out this festive season!
